haha sorry guys, im sellin my 99 ram 2500 ctd for a 08 ram 1500 single cab. just was wondering if they make a lift kit for it, b/c all i see is 4wd ones...prejudice much? lol
IIRC, Kevin (ramstrat) is running a 6 inch Fabtech suspension lift and a 4 inch body lift....however Fabtech only offers them for up to 2006 models for 2wd

Would 3" cause any problems? (drivetrain, change of gear ratio, handling and stability?)
3" no . Not much to worry about .

On your 2008 Ram 1500 2wd we can offer a 2" lift, 4" lift, 5" lift, 6" lift, and if you want to get even more lift, you can add a 3" body lift to achieve up to 9" inches of lift.
