The tailgate assist is a life changer. I don't know how many times I've slammed someone's tailgate down expecting it to glide down.

If you got the tow package, there's a wire on the front side of your pigtail outlet that has a backup wire circuit going to it.

Didn't. .. added a switch in the cab, don't want them all the time... just when need be

I didn't hook them to a switch I just have them hooked up to my 7 pin trailer connection to come on only in reverse they were easy to install and were 20 dollars on amazon very useful and inexpensive mod

Just do a quick Google search like I did. This below wasn't too hard to find. Looks like the center pin is the reverse light circuit.

Used to, they'd put a wiring diagram on the cover of the pigtail outlet. Not sure if they still do, tho.

How and where did you mount them ?

In the trailer hitch there is a large 1+ in hole near the back mounting points i used a large washer (in my case i cut up a licence plate) to keep the bolt head from going though the hole and then bolted on a L braket on each side. The lights were then bolted to the L bracket.

Great thinking, I like it! Would you be able to get a closer picture? I would like to see how the L bracket works with this.
