I used weather seal like the original one but crazy weather here in FL last only 3 months, I redo but always won't last and caught me in a middle of heavy rain.
My last option is to install a longer life LED 3rd Brake Light and put a semi permanent solution by putting a GE Silicone II*

*What's the difference between GE Silicone I* caulk and GE Silicone II* caulk?
GE Silicone II* caulk is what's called a "neutral cure" silicone, which means no acids are released during the curing process (as there are in GE Silicone I* caulk). This enables GE Silicone II* caulk to adhere to a broader range of substrates such as plastics, concrete, and metals. Also, the odor of a neutral cure silicone such as GE Silicone II* caulk is much less offensive than an acid or acetoxy cure silicone such as GE Silicone I* caulk.

This stuff works good. It’s rubber so it doesn’t break down. I got the idea from a bunch of guys on here that had already done it with success.

I would put a bead of silicone on the weather seal before attaching it to the 3rd brake light. This will prevent the heat from attacking the seal's adhesive.

Ok, I've been seeing ads on facebook for Wish, but I've not signed up. Now I have to go sign up and see what all they have for my addiction to adding things to my truck!

Just ordered the latch covers. Got them off ebay for $13. Look just like the ones pictured.............

Did you find them with "RAM" on them or do they say "Dodge" like the ones on Wish?

My sill protectors/covers, another ebay special - $20 for 4 of them.

Have these as well but with Maximum Steel you can't see them. Which is good since I didn't lay them great and got a few bubbles.

Ran into a few snags during the retrofit, being my first one ever. I had issues with the items I purchased, fitment issues and having to cut, measure and repeat was the most tedious part.

I also have been working on making my own 3d printed shrouds for the high beam and low beam. I had to make my own shrouds for the 2.5" high beam, it is a 2 piece part. I didn't like the unfinished 'raw' look without anything covering the projector (not to mention the light leak) and no matter how I cut the 'gatling' shroud nothing would fit in the stock quad headlight housing for the high beam and I wasn't going to go about trimming after I had already painted it. So I made my own shroud to fit. 1.35mm thick! Fits right inside her! :)

First the low beam shroud (no screws needed) -- will be used on my 2nd retrofit. I can custom design these, if anyone is interested I can provide them for you as well:

Then the high beam two piece shroud, requires ZERO trimming of the oem headlight for a 2.5" projector. There are also no screws needed. This is a mock up of the part, the final product was not painted and needed minimal sanding to fit.

Nice job. What printer are you using?

I've got a stratasys 3d printer.

The best part though is that I came in at a cool $99.97 for this mod.

A few days ago, I finally got them finished and on the car. I drove around with them for a few days to be sure that nothing would fall off, or catch fire. LOL. I'm using cheap 55w ballasts and 4300k bulbs (ebay specials/used), and both projectors are wired to activate with factory high beams.

The headlights were used set that I picked up from a local on letgo. I left the reflectors chrome and painted the inner housing Ultra Mica Silver (since I couldn't find PS2) and a few coats of clear. Paint matches, looks great. The lenses are cleaned and buffed.

As of now this is my running total parts list -- complete and sealed dual projector quad headlights:

1. Used Quad Headlights: $40.00
2. Used 2x Xentec 55W Ballasts (Came with headlights): FREE
3. 2.5" H1 Projector w/55w Ballasts and H1 4300k Bulbs: $26.00 (Amazon Deal)
4. 2.5" H1 Projector: $15.00 (Amazon Deal)
5. H1 4300K bulbs: $4.99 (Ebay Deal)
6. Duplicolor Ultra Mica Silver: $10.00
7. Laquer Clear Coat: $3.98
8. Warning Cancellers: FREE (Used on a previous vehicle)
9. Butyl Sealant: FREE (Used for Hurricance Irma)

Total: $99.97

All in all, very happy at this point. Even my wife was impressed and she isn't easily wowed.

I will get some pictures of cutoffs later tonight. I still have to fine tune everything and also upgrade the hid bulbs and ballasts with quality ones, but what I have right now will do for the time being.
