    Side Steps OEM or Aftermarket

If my truck were lifted, I would have gone with the go-rhino or n-fab, etc., but those steps hang a bit low IMO on an unlifted truck.

Went with the $400 OEM's off of ebay. Arrived fast. Installed EASY. Happy.

    Side Steps OEM or Aftermarket

I posted a link to a 1500 crew with the Iron Cross HD steps, but I guess there is a rule that link cannot be to another forum. Sorry.

    Side Steps OEM or Aftermarket

I found a pretty good review on the Iron Cross HD steps mounted on what looks like a 4x2. He needs to slide these ahead about 3" (adjustable front to back), but they are looking pretty good to me.

Looks like the Iron Cross HD steps might provide really good rocker protection as well. I found some good pictures of them mounted on a Ram truck....will post a link when I run across it again.

    Side Steps OEM or Aftermarket

I am also liking the Iron Cross HD steps....just not sure of black powder coat vs. chromed aluminum or polished stainless

    Side Steps OEM or Aftermarket

I like the GoRhino and N-Fab type of design......but the steps seem to hang down kind of low on pictures I could find on non-lifted 4wd. On lifted trucks, they look great!

    Side Steps OEM or Aftermarket

Looks like a person could pick up new OEM steps for about $400 shipped off of ebay.

    Side Steps OEM or Aftermarket

Going to add side steps to my quad cab. I like the OEM's, but wondering about the durability of chrome plated aluminum. Lots of sand/salt in this area during the winter. Interested in hearing the experiences of others here. Best to seek an aftermarket set in stainless steel? I see Mopar only...
