    LA for Magnum Swap

the swap is very simple. 1st get a carb intake manifold for the magnum motor, and carb. if the exhaust doesn't line up then take it to your local exhaust shop.

    drive shaft

sounds like you need new seals in your rear end. probably don't have your two pieces of your drive shaft clocked in the same direction. make sure your universal joints look like they are in line. if one is horizontal and the other is diagonal it will cause a severe shake. example if your front...

if built right, and careful driving a 440 CAN get more than 22 mpg. the 727 is an amazing transmission. very, very tough. I've got 600+ hoses going into mine and it runs like a dream, even after a few thousand hard miles. and when I say hard miles, I mean brutal miles.

in my 01 ram 318 auto 4x4. my trucks transmission isn't slipping. it just wont shift. it had been shifting if I put it in neutral then back to drive. now it wont shift out of 1st gear. could it be a transmission sensor or computer or something simple like that? really need the help. cant afford...

Another newbie thread; need help with differences

pretty much every year od the 1st gens had 318s as an option. most of transfer cases are np208's. they are not shift on the fly though. you can get a shift on the fly transfer case at a junkyard from some early 90s 1st gen rams though relatively cheap. manual transmissions are a little harder to...

    1987 W150 318 -- No headers available?

so youre looking at 15 bucks max for set screws, 150$ for summit racing headers, and an exhaust shop can do an entire exhaust for you for less than 300$. so this whole project shouldn't cost you more than 465$.

    1987 W150 318 -- No headers available?

    1. remove exhaust manifold. 2. drill those tiny emissions holes and tap them. 3. insert set screws into those freshly tapped holes 4. install the headers of your choosing. it really is that easy.

    Restoring a first gen

for example, in the 80s dodge didn't make an r/t truck. therefore I made my 88 d100 into a what if kinda thing, so now I have an 88 d100 r/t with a 440 in it.

    Restoring a first gen

of this I have no idea, however since the first gens aren't that valuable you might want to do a resto-mod. its more fun that way!
