I just bought a 2500 that had a roll type cover. I'm sure there are pros for this style like maybe more bed utilization. I had a flip type on a 1500 that was a lot easier to open. Could be just me but I'm having issues rolling this one. If I was you I'd check into easy of opening.
I don't...
So I have a 2016 Bighorn w/123k miles on it. Its paid for and no issues.... I tow a 6.5k RV and not sure about how long my '16 will go without issues. Ha, I am sure a lot further than I think. I've been a Ram guy a long time and have been lucky to have never had a bad one!
Ok, I was at my local...
I hit a deer with my 2014 Ram w/o a grill guard. It caused 5K in damage and of course took out the drivers side headlight. I added the Westin HDX (installed myself) and fortunately it was never tested. I eventually traded that Ram off, I don't have one now but it is like playing Russian...
When I bought my first RAM I mulled over the 6 vs the 5.7 and chose the Hemi. I didn't tow much but as years went on I got a bigger boat and bigger pop-up camper. I also bought a car carrier trailer I started towing my 3,500# tractor on.
Besides the fact that my Hemi's have NEVER balked at any...
On my 2014 Express, right after I hit a deer and the truck was fixed I installed a huge brush guard. Had to make special brackets... It was huge. I really did not like the way it looked afterwards. I have since traded it in for a 2016 Big horn for more upgrade options but I knew I was not taking...
I drive a lot of miles. My 2014 Express had 58K a couple weeks ago. Loved that truck but on the trip home from a fishing trip I got sick and my 5' tall wife had to drive home. She could barely see over the hood and it seemed dangerous. I joked the next one will have a power seat. Get healed up...
I am considering buying a dual axle car hauler (18') but it only has brakes on one axle. I live in IL and the trailer is up in WI where they have more relaxed trailer and licensing laws. Is it easy to add brakes to the second set of wheels/axle?
It belongs to a friend and he is offering me a...
Thanks for making me feel better. I have had some heavy loads of wood and block when building a deck. I know that was heavy BUT I never knew the actual weight. Knowing the actual weight had my mind wandering. Ha

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 4x4 and plan to put 940# in the bed (big 3-point chipper). Just wonder how much you all have had in the back and what to expect? I suppose I should place centered over rear axle but I do need to pull it out. the chippers skid is 35" wide x 45" long so it will fit fine...
Almost 46K on mine and although it functions fine, as said by many I often turn the truck off without it being in park. Once I switched to R thinking it was in park and that was almost a disaster....
Wish mine had a simple column shifter too many years of having either a floor or column shift I...
Big ram fan here so like all variations. I customize almost everything I buy to make it mine. Always enjoy others doing the same.
Nice job, love the blue.
Congrats and welcome. I have had my Express going on 2 yrs now. Love this truck. Only thing I don't like is the dial shift. Even after this long I still forget at times to turn to park when I shut off. Not sure why, because I have been driving trucks a long time. Just weird. Ha
Mine flashes a...
