2500 Hemi Seems Slow
Howdy, I recently bought a 2003 Ram 2500 5.7 Hemi 4x4 with 3.73 gears. Only had 60,000 miles so I replaced my 2004 Ram 1500 5.7 4x4 with 3.92 gears CAI and Flowmaster exhaust with 173,000. My issue with the new (to me) truck is that it has a hard time holding a speed even towing a small...- bwalker

I will check that out. I have a cheap scanner from Amazon and I am getting the code P0440 which is for the evaporative emissions system. Would I have to take it to a dealer to have them check it? Thanks!- bwalker

I checked the vacuum lines as best I could and didn't find anything but I will get further inspection done with a smoking machine. Did I mention that the problem was intermittent. One moment it runs perfect and another, it is shaking violently. Not sure if this helps you with diagnosis. Thanks!- bwalker
