    So it sounds like the stock set up is the best for what im looking to do. The main reason I was asking about the Volant filter is I had a 7.3l Ford diesel before I bought my awesome Ram, and Fords heavy duty high dust filter was the same "Donaldson's" filter. Im guessing not worth the money.

    So it sounds like if you want one of these trucks to last a long time keep everything stock. I was thinking that the aftermarket would have higher quality parts available.

    Hello, I have been looking threw the forum about cold air intakes and everything is about performance or what not. I haven't found anything on, are there filters out there that filter better than stock. I have been looking at the Volant cai with the "power core" filter. Or should I just keep it...

    285/75r17

    The tread depot has the 285/75R17 TOYO AT2 for $253 and its in the Extreme size. It looks like the 285/75R17 is only 0.4" taller than the 285/60/20 and the same width I don't see why they wouldn't work. I might just have to try it.
