Ok I wasn't sure what cluster you have. Mine will show the source from the radio (AUX, Radio station, etc) and I'm not sure if I'll lose that with an aftermarket head unit.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm considering one of these units for my 2010. Just curious what displays in the EVIC in the gauge cluster with this head unit?

I am thinking of installing an aftermarket head unit in my 2010 Big Horn. My question is, after installing the new head unit, will I lose my display of the radio source in the EVIC? Or is there a way to adapt the new head unit to the display? Any info would help. Thanks!

That is what I do now, but as stated in the OP I would like to just be able to put it in drive and go, especially if anyone else ever needs to drive my truck.

So to make a long story short, whenever my truck kicks into MDS I get a pretty bad rattling sound that I think I've narrowed down to a faulty cam phaser. Rather than tackle that job to fix the MDS that I don't want anyway, I figured I would just get a tuner and disable the MDS entirety. My...
When I bought my truck it only had 1 fob so I bought an additional pair off eBay and had the dealer program them. They guy at the service desk said it can be 50/50 with the cheap aftermarket keys as to wether they work or not. Both new ones I got worked initially, but now one only works to start...
I'm pretty sure if you download the Mopar owners app and put in your VIN it will give a list of the installed options and equipment.

Not those in particular but I just put a set of the Wildpeak AT/3's on my truck and couldn't be happier with them. The stock Goodyear's were garbage.

My 2010 1500 has been pulling off to the shoulder side of the road no matter which side it is on. Typically it wants to drift off the the right but the other day I noticed while going through a road construction zone on the opposite side of the road, it pulled off the the shoulder on the left. I...
Yep. It's pretty horrible. I had a flat a few weeks ago and if I wouldn't have had a pair of channel locks in my toolbox I never would have gotten it out. It is a pretty poor design.

I apologize in advance if this doesn't belong here. I'm wiring bed lights into my truck, and I have the harness run out of the front left side of the bed. Directly underneath, there is a ground cable that appears to come from the fuel fill neck. Would it hurt anything to ground my lights to the...
So long story short, the other day I was helping a neighbor out with moving some furniture using my truck and trailer, and after having unhooked the trailer, someone stood on the back of it before I moved my truck with the tailgate open and I got a pretty nasty scratch and paint chip out of it...
