So, just to update this thread, I decided to pass on the 5th wheel I mentioned. Amyone use Timbren SES for towing 13k-14k 5er with 2500?
Thanks. To me it seems like kind of a toss up btwn the Sumos or Timbrens. Cheaper than airbags and easier to install and maintain. Just curious, does your truck have 3.73 or 4.10 gears? I do have a 2" leveling kit on mine and 3.73 rear end.- davalt75

That's a little lighter than the TT I have now. I bet he can hardly tell it's back there. As far as the ride goes, I can't speak for GM but I've had two F250 diesels and my Ram rides better than either of them. No 3/4 ton truck is going to give you the ride of a 1/2 ton, though.- davalt75

The one I'm considering is 12,275 dry weight so I think the loaded weight of the camper and pin weight would be a good bit lower than yours. I know the truck can pull it. I don't put a lot of miles on my truck so the tires still only have 2,500 miles on them. But they are still whisper quiet. Even with the windows down I hardly hear anything at all. Re-center Steering Wheel After Leveling Kit Install
In the videos I've seen online there is a hexagonal adjustment piece in the drag link with a locking nut on each end. I looked under the front end and I didn't see said piece so I'm assuming the draglink must be a little different on the newer trucks. Or did I just overlook it?
