How is the quality on Rams?
I bought my truck Dec. 7th 2013 as a 2014 model. I've towed the largest Uhaul trailer from Tulsa to Roanoke VA completely packed the bed packed and every nook and cranny filled in the cab, truck did great, got about 15 MPG with the 8spd. What's your trucks name?
My step father always wanted a red Dodge Ram pick up. He had a Blue Base 1990 W150 which he named Ghilbert??? after his passing I bought myself a 2014 Ram 1500 and named him Peter Ram after him.- Dodgeman85

Hopefully an easy question
Ok so I am in the early stages of planning the addition of a sub in my 2014 1500 quad cab. 8 speed problems ?
I guess I'll echo what everyone else is saying. The 8spd is the best tranny dodge has gotten their hands on in decades. the dial shifter is fine once you get used to it, actually if you are trying to back a trailer up or are trying to do some maneuvering forwards and backwards I find it very...- Dodgeman85

Installation of factory 8" Sub
Ok thats pretty much what I thought, The Kicker sub that Mopar sells, is that a powered sub? or is that to be used in place of an existing 8" sub. for 500 or so that they charge I'd hope its powered lol. Thanks for the input.- Dodgeman85

Ok well that answers my 1st question, is there an amp built in for the sub or not, so my next question would be how hard would it be to get a signal from the factory stereo unit? I'm sure there are not pre outs in the rear of the stereo , would i have to use a line signal setup to run the amp...- Dodgeman85
