    Go for the V10. You'll be in love. It's smooth as butter and almost dead silent compared to the Cummins. I get 11 MPG unloaded, 10 loaded. It really doesn't get much better or worse than that.

    My 2500 is having a similar problem. VERY loose wheel. I'm not equipped to do this kind of work myself. Can a normal mechanic do this? Or should I take it to the( *gasp*) dealer?

    So I'm going to be installing my 8" solobaric subs under the back seat in my '01 2500 QC. I have the Infinity sound system (CD player and 3 point EQ). Does this head unit have a sub out on the back? If not, what is suggested as an audio-in for the amp? Thanks in advance!

    Lol good plan. I normally use my Garmin to check mine. When I bought my 2500, it had smaller than stock tires. I put new Bridgestone load range Es on it in the stock size, and now my speedo reads like 3 or 4 mph over what I'm actually doing.

    2001 Ram 2500 V10. 143,000 miles. Auto tranny, 3:55 gears, 4x4 Running stock size Bridgestone Duravis Load range E tires. New 1/10/13. Unloaded 13 mpg highway, 9 around town. Loaded with trailer and 3800 lb car 9mpg highway.

    My passenger side door speaker goes in and out. More often out. Thinking the amp is failing. Should I just grab another speaker/amp combo from the pick n pull?

    Floored it last night in my v10. Left tracks for 50 feet. Then my gas pedal got stuck under the floor mat (Toyota??). Scared the hell outa me but was worth it.

    Awesome! Thanks, ill give that a shot tomorrow. Horns themselves are good as they sound when I lock the doors with the key fob, and using the extra horn button I rigged up to pass inspection. I will check relays and fuses and report back tomorrow.

    I like the black 01 the best out of the bunch you posted. I'm partial to my V10 though. So much more bang for your buck. And as you say, there's more to life than MPG :)
