    The only thing I've altered before having a problem was cutting the old exhaust and putting a new muffler on. Is there a good way to tell if the coil is bad?

    Well, didn't fix the problem. Plugs definitely needed to be changed, so I don't feel too bad about doing it all. I guess I need to actually track down where my spark ends. Anyone have any tips or tricks for that?

    Update: Sorry for the delay. I needed another pair of eyes to help. I checked fuel pressure and it's perfect. My buddy thought it seemed I wasn't getting spark. Turning over fine, just no spark. Tested and couldn't get it to arc between drill bit and plug. Replaced distributor cap, wires, and...

    Changed out the IAC and that didn't work. Noticed a difference between the old and new, which led me to believe the old one was frozen. Had the battery disconnected, so PCM should have reset. I'll check the fuel pressure. The last damn gauge I bought didn't have a schrader connection.

    Update!!! Changed out the crank sensor. What a P.I.T.A.!!! Nothing like doing it blindly by feel only. Truck fires up, but still need to give it gas to keep it going. Idles so low it dies out. Seems like RPM's rise and fall when trying to keep it steady too. Thinking IAC valve may be next...

    Hey all! Trying to replace the fuel pump in my '96 2500 5.9. The nipple broke off of the plastic piece that attaches from the filter to the hose. Can provide pics of that's not clear. Anyone know a part number or where to find it? Thanks!
