The stock projectors are barely better than the quads. Try chucking some LED's in the quads first.
I went from a 2021 Classic Night edition with quads to a 2022 Classic Warlock with projectors. So not worth it. Maybe a slightly more focused hot spot but that's about it.
My biggest...
Whatever you do, don't go with Diode Dynamics SL1's....the board is too thick and has sort of a knob at the end. Creates a huge dead zone. Awful beam pattern in these projectors. Went back to stock halogens.
Sent them back today and put the stock assemblies back in. Was flashed by 3 people while I was out on Saturday night. Wasn’t going to mess with over-adjusting and putting stress or malfunction on the aiming mechanism. Beautiful lights but IMO, I got a faulty pair that were nowhere near close to...
No, not even close on the passenger side. The lowest I could get it was like another step up from the drivers side. Like stairs. So basically the passenger side left (lower cutoff) lines up with the drivers side upper cutoff. Not sure what to do. I’ve already cranked the passenger side down 3...
As an update - I removed the passenger side and reinstalled and it’s much better this time around. Much more uniform gap. Super happy with the end result.
Hey Everyone,
I know there are a million other Morimoto threads out there but most of them are old and didn't want to bump a 2 year old thread.
I just purchased and installed a set of Morimoto XB LED headlights on my '22 Warlock - went with the Amber DRL's and I think they look killer!
For...
After a couple weeks of ongoing issues I returned it back to stock. Honestly not worth the headaches. It’s a beautiful big screen though.
The first unit was DOA and once the warranty replacement came in, the Maestro RR started acting up and I lost all stock functionality.
I’m sure others have...
For sure. It’s either the black night edition rims or the black sport rims.
I’m looking at a few different options, some of the Flow Formed ones for strength and lower weight. For aftermarket everyone around here has black fuel contras it’s like an epidemic.
I’ve had so many cars in a row...
Ultimately that's what I'll end up doing if I ever go back to the audio system. Rip out the Alpine stuff and put in a PAC unit with an aftermarket amp, speakers and sub.
For now i've moved onto other things....rims or headlights. :)
Can I ask why you'd recommend the Alphas over the Morimotos?
Everything I read says that the Morimotos are an overall better product, outside of the price tag. I want true plug & play, no AlphaOBD or extra trickery required.
EDIT: Also - the stock radio is back in, and everything is as it...
