Read a great "go-by" on forum about leasing, 1st stop was Kelly which has vehicle valued at $28K trade-in, I see on carfax the vehicle (quad cab) is selling between $30-35K, next will contact Chrysler for pay-off value in Sept, tried calling salesman for early check on available used 6-cylinders...- fmichelson

Everything You Want to Know about Negotiating a Lease
great and thorough writeup, I just posted "9Mo Lease Up" that this answers, I'm not looking for buy out, only for lower monthly payments by going from a 8-cyl to a 6-cyl, it's a 2021 bighorn hemi quad that will have about 23K mileage and I think the amount remaining on vehicle is $26,000- fmichelson

Lease Up in 9Mo
Had a lease on 2019 Bighorn hemi, moved to 2021 Bighorn hemi, that lease will extend in Sept '24 with about 23K miles, I expect dealer will call early in about 3mo to try moving me into a 2024 but worried monthly lease cost will increase from current $475/mo, haven't been taking advantage of...- fmichelson

Holy Cow....yes, same issue....very disappointing as I don't have too many options as cant use garage (that's for my Sweetie), cant use townhouse parking (that's for Visitors), pain to drape sides with sheet (rain and wind), and there are 2 other trucks in townhouse development that park same...- fmichelson

Warping occurs on side facing east exposure of sun but we live in CT as opposed to extreme heat states, the townhouses that surround the parking area are beige vinyl siding, pavement is asphalt, none of this seems drastic meaning normal environment. I can’t think of anything else….thoughts?- fmichelson

New to forum but urgently need help; During my 3yr lease on a 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn the plastic window pillars AND casing of side view mirror warped 2-3 times during that period, then traded vehicle in for a 2021 (same type vehicle) and just happened again towards end of summer.
