2010 uconnect replacement to aftermarket
The stereo in my 2010 Laramie ****** me off. Twice today it stopped communicating with my iPod that is plugged in through the upper glove box. The stereo itself is updated to the current version. Also of course it cannot stream audio from my iPhone 7. I want to replace it with a decent...- Gump

What DON'T you like about your RAM?
After having my MC Laramie 2500 for a few months I have some gripes. Ungodly squeak coming from the rear seat area I cannot find, loses connection with my iPod occasionally and I have to unhook and reconnect it, backup camera goes whacky when I wash the truck, heater motor makes abnormal loud...- Gump

Sadly, I sold my 1500 because my trailer was just too heavy for it. 7.2 mpg and constantly being in 5th gear wasn't cutting it. And now I bought a 2010 2500 Mega Cab Laramie Cummins truck! I would say I got a good deal. After looking at several 07.5-08 trucks, I got this one for the 3rd gen...- Gump

Return to stock before dealer visit
Pull the tune. That's all I did and it's good because they plugged in and did an update. The manifold bolts on these trucks suck. Less than 10K miles since the new bolts and I can faintly hear a leak starting again.- Gump

Oil temps
I run Amsoil fluid and their filter, so I won't worry about it. Unless it goes over 300 in which case I'll have a panic attack.- Gump

Oil temps
I notice my oil temp likes to get above 250* when towing my 8000# trailer. Considering a heavier oil weight, and maybe an oil cooler. Anyone else's 5.7 get hot like that while towing? Granted I am at a 5300'-10,000' elevation with many mountain to go over, but I expected it to keep temps more...- Gump
