It’s definitely not the receiver it’s comin from the front part of the truck and I shut the hill assist off when I bought the truck and double checked it’s still off.
It gets louder with a heavier trailer I noticed as well...
Dealer is going to call Chrysler engineering department today...
I read that if u put in manual that the cylinder shut down is disabled. I tried in in manual and it seemed to disable it. So today while I had a trailer on I tried that and it still made the noise. It’s like a rubbing slipping noise, metal or something. Could it be a torque converter issue?
I kinda feel like I’m getting blown off by the dealership since it’s not an obvious problem. I would like to get it fixed since I’m getting close to being done my factory warranty even though I have extended warranty
Hard to tell where it’s coming from. Front area engine tranny area but could be exhaust near there as well...
