    If you can swing a wrench do it just have the heads checked to make sure their not warped and might as well do timing chains while in there I've done it twice in the 11 yrs I've had the truck

    second owner on mine got it when it was a year old as a repo. mine is a 5 speed and it has cruise the rubber mat instead of carpet which i luv. with cloth seats and yes there is a connection for the overhead i added an overhead console some years back

    mine is an st had no harness but i was doing hids so it didnt matter and used a relay to the headlight so i didnt have to worry about forgetting to turn them off.

    missed this dont get on much but i have had just about every bolt on for the 4.7 if you look at my mod list to see what can be done to the motor. on a 5-speed i would start with gear 4.10 if you do alot of highway driving 4.56 if you dont follow that with a 2008 intake will make a good start...

    I was going to get mine rebuild after sync's went out but waited to long and guess caused more damage but the guy told me 1600 and I was like no and bought one from autozone for like 1200-1300 bucks
