Thanks everyone - yeah that connector is going to cost to much for this project. I do have all the other parts laying around - FAKRA connector, external satellite antenna and a 12v power supply (old server psu).
I'll keep looking around to see if I can figure out a cheaper way to power this...
Thanks - is this the pin diagram? I'm not sure I know how to read it properly...like what part on the diagram is the pin?
I don't have a harness on the head unit right now so I just have the hole in the back of the unit with all the pins so I can't go by wire color.
Thanks again
Hi,
I have my old Uconnect 3.0 that I thought I'd turn into a workshop satellite radio. But I need a harness to plug into the back and the pinout diagram so I can power it.
Anyone happen to have either? This came out of a 2014 Crew - no alpine, no 8.4 touch screen.
Nice to hear - I'm slightly paranoid due to it being the first new vehicle I've purchased (always saved and bought used).
So Ok to sit in the garage till friday when I can wash?
So this weekend I was visiting some family - they live off a 5mi dirt road - it was raining all weekend until sunday morning (3 days of sloppy dirt roads).
So before I headed home I decided to just do a quick rinse to get the majority of the dirt road off.
Unfortunately they are on a well...
^^thanks!
Do you know how much drop they have? I have a 2014 ram express 2wd with 20" factory wheels and am curious how close to the ground the step would be
yeah sorry...I forgot to mention that I was talking about the "Plus Step" the ones that look like the N-fabs - long tube with hoops.
No offense but I'm not a fan of the HD step...to bulky for me.
I ran across those a while back...just haven't been able to find anyone that has them to make a decision. I'm also not sure that I like the way they adjust...to me adjustable means weaker (because there's more points of failure).
How close did they fit up against the body? in the pics I can find you can see a visible gap between them and see the mounting brackets (like on go rhino's site)...and that doesn't look that great to me.
Also are the ends of the main tube sealed/closed?
Hi All,
I'm looking into getting some of the hooped side steps/nerf bars like the n-fabs. Up until now I thought the N-fabs are the way to go, but I just read that the main tube is open on both ends and some people have had issues with the brackets lining up and therefore had to drill holes...
So it's been about 6 months since I bought my truck and when I did, I clayed it and put a sealant on it.
Now it's garage kept and only driven every couple weeks...but I was still planning on applying the sealant every 6 months...but do I need to clay again as well.
What do you guys think of this one? I'm either going to get something small specific for drying cars...or one I could also use in my yard (which would be gas).
Just for the cars:
Makita USA - Tool Details - BUB182
Or for yard and cars...
