That is my wonderful electric over hydraulic scissor lift. 6500Lb lift. Can lift my 01 Ram ext cab with 318 no problem. Can lift it about 4ft. Sure makes the diff swap nice. Slid diff under, lower truck, bolt diff and lift truck back up.
So Thursday was my last day before Holiday's. Off till Jan 2. On the way home my D44 is making a racket. Get home and pull cover. Well that's done. Cross shaft came out and took out pinion. So.... parts. Hey, that D60 in the corner? Yup. If I'm huckin money away it may as well be a 60. Tear out...
Fihured out may vacuum leak. Zip tied the line to the t-case as I have the CAD locked already. Heater doesn't shuffle around anymore. Going to get new vac lines and replace the switch and CAD. Get it all working again as it should. But for now I have 4x4.

Can't find a used axle around here easy enough so going to put a speedi sleeve on my right axle (2001 dana 44). Without taking my truck apart till I have the sleeve is 1.6" correct for the seal surface? Anybody know?
Ya. It's cool. I'll figure it out later. Lost shift on the fly now. Just grinds. Gotta stop to engage the T-case. Don't matter anyway as the front diff gave up locking up anyway.
Got a set of 60's to rebuild and install this summer and do a T-case swap.
I use it. I like it. Motorcycles to lawn mowers to trucks.
Few examples:
80 Yamaha XS1100 with bad mix match carbs (4) but I had a parts bike. Carbs were attached to the engine but no air cleaner and sitting outside for several years. Pulled them off and sprayed them down with some carb clean...
