Been a member for a little while now, not as vocal as some, but been a fan of this place ever since I joined. Anyway, upgraded from my 2500 2015 tradesman, loving every minute of it.

Please tell me I'm going crazy...

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been having engine trouble as of late very similar to that being described and after reading this I investigated my manufacturing date, which is in September. Contacted my dealer about 10 minutes prior to posting this.

    Odd Noise

Thank you for that. Any clue on what caused the pump to go bad?

    Odd Noise

Not quite sure what this could be. There is a hissing noise followed by a chirping noise. Noticed it the other morning. Seems to only appear during a cold start, but I know it wasn't doing this before.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koQD9ipQ2xU&feature=youtu.be

This kinda displays the range I've worked in so far. The first piece is a 5mm plug that was used for an assembly, then the second piece weighs 1440lbs.

Here's one most of you will recognize. Not sure what it went to, but it was pretty fun. This is post machining, had to repair some diameters manually. Sorry for the picture quality.

Here's one more for the day. Nothing too special about this piece, other than I find it looks pretty neat. The bronze bushing is pressed in the steel housing, then the ID is turned and holes are drilled/milled to specific tolerances. Perpendicularity and parallelism are very important aspect in...

These pieces here are what hard chrome plating looks like after the chrome is applied to the part. Anything you don't want plated you simply tape off or around. The purpose behind the process is you want something plated mainly for the aspect something is going to ride on that surface, so before...

So I thought I would put a different spin on things here in the Photos & Videos section. A little background information, I work as a CNC Machinist. I program, set up and operate both Lathes and Mills. This is my career which is also what pays for my Ram, so the two are related which makes this...

    The 6.4 HD Hemi Thread

Finally found the time to post in this thread. Been busy with work and what not. Did some reading throughout the thread, lots of good reading. Coming from a Ram 1500 4x4 regular cab, so this is quite the upgrade. Loving every aspect of it so far.

    Anyone know anything about wraps

I've been putting some thought into this my self. I ordered some samples from Metro Restyling - Carbon Fiber Vinyl - Camo - Woodgrain Vinyl Wrap The only real issue I see is getting the wrap around the back of the cab and the front of the bed.

Thanks everyone! As for mods being planned, I honestly don't know where to start and whats worth modifying so I'll certainly be doing a lot of reading on here.

    First time Ram owner

Just saying hello. First time buying a Ram Truck. Past trucks were a 97 Chevy S10 and a 99 Ford Ranger. So far this truck takes the cake (obviously can't really compare to mid size trucks anyway) just getting used to the mpg since I went from a 2.5l 4cylinder to a Hemi. This is my 2012...
