Broken Tailgate Rod clip replacement
For any of you interested: The GM rod clips from Amazon work perfectly. Comes in a set of 4, 2 in green and 2 in red.- Josh Wilichowski

Is there anywhere I can buy this bracket?
Follow up question: Is there a work around for this bracket? Something from an A/B/C body car? GM or Ford? Already have a full stainless line kit ordered. Should be here in 3-5 weeks. Any help offered is appreciated- Josh Wilichowski

Is there anywhere I can buy this bracket?
Noticed the hard line attached to this bracket was leaking. When I touched the bracket, it practically folded in two. It is mounted on the frame just in front of the axle on the left side. Is there anywhere/anyone I can buy one from? Fabrication is possible but my skills and tools are limited.- Josh Wilichowski

Broken Tailgate Rod clip replacement
New to this forum, but not to these trucks. I had the clip on the tailgate rod snap. No one sells a clip specifically for a 1st Gen, but the clips for 99-07 GM/Chev look really similar. Anyone have any experience with these clips? Do they work? Is there another clip that would work better...- Josh Wilichowski
