    Must have options?

The NAV is not as user friendly as it could be. I'd much rather use my phone than the NAV in my truck for speed and ease of use. But, having that big map right there in the dash is probably safer than looking down at your phone.

    Must have options?

I like my keyless entry alot. It's not a must have, but it's really convenient to never have to take your keys out of your pockets to unlock doors or start the truck (pushbutton start). Just place your hand under the handle and it unlocks "instantaneously". Keys can stay in your pants or coat...

    Potential upgrade from a Tacoma

I have the RamBoxes and like them alot. They are a convenience and something I wanted, but not a must have. Some people like the looks of them and some don't. They take away a little bit of bed space, but I don't put alot back there anyway. It's great that they lock/unlock with the key fob...

Cover on a 1500 ram box?

I got the Bakflip G2 with my RamBoxes as well - love it. Easy to remove too.

    Thinking about an *UPGRADE*

Financially, it's a horrible decision to trade it in now after 4 months. I think you said you owed >$33k on it and getting offerred $30.5k. I think that's obvious to everybody, and it's also obvious that a bad decision was made in getting a truck 4 months ago that wasn't what you wanted. So...

    Ebay Service Manual

Ram sent me a paper copy for free when I bought my truck earlier this year. Just had to call a number and request it. The CD was nice and all, but I prefer the book and the cd/dvd doesn't do much good in certain situations.

It followed me home. Can I keep it?s

Hey man - I had the same issue on the passenger RamBox. Dealer had to use a sawsall to get into it and replace it with a new one. Then the new one wouldn't open! They determined that the factory must have installed the lockign mechanism upside down, and ordered another new RamBox for me...

    New Dodge owner

I went from a 2004 Titan to a 2014 Ram a couple months ago. I loved that Titan and wish they had released an update sometime in the past 10 years! Despite some initial hic-ups with the air suspension and a rambox that won't unlock my Ram is working out nice for me. And gas mileage is way...

    New truck advise

It does suck when you know more about the truck than the salesperson. I had a similar experience where the guy was telling me stuff I knew wasn't true. You expect these guys to be experts on what they're selling, but really they're just blowing you full of hot air. I have the air suspension...

    New truck advise

I have a folding cover with my RamBoxes - BakFlip G2 was about $700 - installed myself pretty easily. BakFlip Tonneau Cover - Dodge Crew Cab with RAMBox - Details!

    What's it worth?

I like CarMax as well, but they will be offering you a wholesale price similar to the dealership, and not a retail price like you seem to be seeking.

    Extended warranty question

I just bought a 2014 Laramie Limited CC a couple weeks ago. The finance guy sold me on a Mopar "Added Care Plus" extended warranty to 7-year 70,000 miles. The covered components specifically lists "shocks" and he told me it covered the air suspension, which was key for me. It also included...

    Hidden features?

Good thread! (although a little long!) Small thing, but some folks don't notice it - if you're in navigation, it shows you the speed limit of the road you're on in the bottom right hand corner. And on my truck I can leave my key in my pocket and just put my hand under the door handle and...

    Bout to make the plunge

If you go to TrueCar you can get an idea of what folks are paying in your area - don't have to use their service to get an idea. I just bought mine last weekend. Laramie CC 4x4 V8's are going for around $42k in my area (Colorado) and that was the price I was looking for going in. Could...

2014 Ram 1500 Air Suspension Overview

Dealer called me and said they figured out the problem - they had an incorrect "part" in the truck that wasn't intended for this type of truck. When they put the correct "part" on, it worked. Haven't got any detail on exactly what "part" this was. They brought the truck to me at work...
