Window tint question.
The tint does change how the auto high beamed worked on my truck. I brought my truck back to the tinter and he was able to cut around the sensor so it functions correctly. -
TPMS Dead??
Sounds like the battery is starting to fail on that sensor. The reason is why it work sometimes is when the battery gets low in the sensors, the frequency of the signal they omit can sometimes change. A tire should should be able to test the battery level in that sensor that is failing on you. -

Almost 100 percent certain that the Rams do not have a sensor in the spare. So even if you had a full size spare and buy a sensor to put in it, you wouldn't be able to read all 5 wheels positions on the tpms read out at once. The Ram only registers 4 at a time. When we do rotations at work... -

5.7 and 6.4 hemi Longevity
I know someone at work that bought a used 6.4 that was an old fleet truck. When he got the truck, it had around 165k miles and I was surprised how well it felt when I drove it. I agree with the 6.4 being a solid engine if taken care of how it's suppose to be cared for.- lmeavtitn

Stuck in a pickle... Need advice.
I would say that gas milage would be the biggest down side. They are more expansive to repair and work on, ride quality is worse and tires cost more. sorry...that was a typo. factory is 285/70r17. I want to go to 305/65r17. 305/65 and 285/70 are almost the same height. I was typing on my phone it its a total PIA. -

Tire Size Question
I want to get new tires before snow sets in as the factory tires did not do me well last year in the snow. I have already settled on a size as overall height is about the same but it's just wider. Second screw in tire within a week or so
A tire is a tire. If it rolls, it will pick up nails. Certain tires are more prone to picking up nails with the tread design. Also, some AT tires are kevlar lined and I have never seen a nail puncture one of those. As far as the dealer patching the same tire multiple times, if they follow...- lmeavtitn

No, I wasn't even thinking of taking pictures of the fading but if it happens again, I will for sure. Yeah, I was pretty surprised that it was faded already. I know my wifes jeep wrangler is pretty faded...but it's also a 2007.- lmeavtitn

What DON'T you like about your RAM?
The biggest dislike I have with the 4th gens are fit and finish quality. Between my 14 and my 15, they have both been in the shop for warranty with the paint. My Ram Rebel has been repainted on both sides, inside the door jams and I also have had 2 new tail gates put on it.- lmeavtitn

I guess Ford isn't built tough
I know my 2015 Ram has a pretty tough bed. I had a motor/tranny dropped in it. It was a big v8 and HD truck transmission. It fell off the cherry picker about 16 inches off the bed. I have a pretty good couple dents but no punctures.- lmeavtitn
