    I just fixed mine on Monday. I figured since there was not check engine light illuminated, then there are no codes. I was wrong. I hooked up a scanner just in case, and I discovered that I did have a code P0404 -EGR issue. I replaced the EGR solenoid and cleared the code, and it has worked...

    Thanks for all the suggestions! I will bring it to my shop today and test out some sensors. RonJon- The cat is a possibility because I sometimes get the cat smell "rotten eggs", and a few weeks ago I got a code for the cat, but cleared it out because I've never really had a cat cause problems...
