O On their face they look the same however, the ZF 8 Speed has been reworked for the 5th generation, the rear end has a fluid heater that routes coolant from the engine to the diff. And who knows if the MDS software has been modified, ect. So no, they are not the same.- Mercury250

I believe this report is only partially accurate. EPA hasn't certified the e torque engines however, the 5.7L e torques are now being produced.- Mercury250

2019 RAM 1500 Laramie with issues from the start (long read)
Not saying they are. But I have bought new an Audi A4, Nissan Titan, Chevy Tahoe and Ford F-150. NONE of them had squealing brakes from the dealership. Chevy had electronic gremlins with the Nav system (2009). Nissan NEVER had any issues in 70k miles (2005), Audi never had issues (2013) and the...- Mercury250

When you pay 40-60K for a new vehicle, pulling of wheels and screwing with brake pads in NOT something that is acceptable. Make the dealer work! Why does everyone point to another company with similar issues they found? This is RAM and FCA. I have one on order, but this is just stupid. E torque is no longer listed as late availability. I ordered one, limited, rambox, e torque. I ordered it because frankly, I want to do anything to sort of make it even close to the low end torque of my 3.5L EcoBoost. I agree with the review for the most part. I would've had them tied. F150 has the superior drivetrain and towing technology while Ram has the more refined interior and ride. They both are good looking trucks.- Mercury250
