After this happened the mechanic called the transmission guy and he thought it was a bad solenoid new out of the box that was put in the transmission. 46RE transmission problem
First, transmission lost reverse (broken snap ring) but had all drive gears. Had local mechanic remove the transmission and took it to a transmission shop for a rebuild. Transmission was rebuilt and reinstalled by the mechanic. The issue now is the transmission drive good for about 45 seconds...- Mice77
