New mopar v6 Efan

Terrible 5.7L 2500 MPG
Ive got a 2016 2500 with the 5.7, 3.73 gears, 6.4 intake manifold with an s&b intake and i average 11.8-12 mpg driving it to work every day. if i do a long highway trip it will come up to about 16 mpg. towing and plowing i usually end up in the single digits. Remove the lower brace between the engine and transmission and put a prybar into the bellhousing to keep the flex plate from spinning. The torque spec is 72 ft/lbs- moparman

Theyre a totally different design and part number between the two but are both prone to the same failures. buy yourself an aftermarket tuner to disable to active fuel management and youll never have an issue. as a tech at a dealer, we cannot go into the pcm and change parameters for the cooling fan and the temperature it cycles at but if you have a diablosport tuner or similar you would be able to change fan operating temps that way- moparman
