OK, maybe I'm over-analyzing this, but I searched all over this forum and the WEB and just get more confused. All I want to do is replace my stock T-Stat with a 180 in my 2013 RAM. I bought the 180 and figured this would be a quick and easy Sunday job in the garage. Problem is I know I am going...
One more note. Now that I see that I only got 1.4" lift the first time, if I max out the bils to 2.8 it will make my truck almost exactly level ( I measured it) . Probably ought to put 3/4" to 1" spacer in the rear no?
After much discussion and sending of pictures via email, they sent me an email. "Long and short of it is, you were right, we were wrong"
They have agreed to fix free of charge.
Spoke with Bilstein. There are indeed 5 settings (no news to y'all). The correct part number is installed in my truck (it's the only 5100 that fits anyway).
These guys are full of crap. This is not some tiny garage...these guys are supposed to be pros. Now my only decision is do I make...
The saga continues...the shop claims that there are only 3 settings for the Bilstein 5100s and mine are at the highest setting. I am fairly sure they are wrong. Could they have put in a different part number?
