    I have a 04 Ram with the 545rfe transmission, it has 255,000 miles. It lost overdrive a few thousand miles ago and my gas mileage has decreased a bit. The trans has the original fluid so I was wondering if y'all thought changing it could possibly fix the problem. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    @Karlsweg Thanks. And sadly they are original. It was my dad's truck and he never did any maintenance. It has only had 5 oil changes too. Never changed diff or trans oil either.

    I want to replace my spark plugs in my 04 hemi. I'm hoping to get some power back and possibly better fuel mileage. My truck has the original plugs with 253,000 miles on them. How can I prevent them from getting stuck and breaking off? All help is appreciated

    255,000 miles on my 2004 1500 hemi. Nothing rebuilt, It has original factory transmission oil and it has had a total of 5 oil changes in it's life. The only major issue it has had is a bad computer.
