2012 RAM 2500 Cummins with 30K miles. Has the key fob that inserts in the dash with evic. Suddenly when I remove my key the evic still warns "key in ignition" and all of my accessories stay on unless I disconnect the battery. I have disconnected the battery for 10 min, pulled fuzes, unplugged...
To wake up a old thread how are the caltracs treating yah? I have my 4.56 and DTT going in soon and just put on my 2/4 drop so now I need to toughin up my rear end. You had it to the track yet?
ok, so like veryone else has said, its a 4wd so make sure whatever you get is a 4x4 kit. on the other hand I just lowered my 4x4 and i used 4x4 drop coils up fron and 2wd DJM flip kit in the rear and gave me the drop i wanted after i figured it out. make sure though you dont flex the CV joints...
Yup just what I thought this is the spacer I saw on top of my strut exact same thing. Can't believe this.

Wow, ok so I think I figured it out. On top of the coils and strut assembly is there a rubber piece about 2" thick that mounts on top? I'm thinking that the person before me had a leveling kit on it and that leveling kit is still on? OMG!! That's such a newb mistake. Anyone changed coils or put...
Trup I know your 3rd gen had spindles up front did you also have coils? What kind of drop did that give you? How was the ride? And did it affect your cv joints? Thanks bro. Love the stance of your 4th looks sick.
I was going to spindles but afraid of maxing the cv joints, i talked to another guy Shikityshack and he suggested coils over spIndles for that reason. Unless I rad it wrong. I'm gonna give it a bit and see if it settles if not maybe I'll raise the back a bit which I def dnt want to do. I hate...
So I put ground force 2/4 drop on my 2006 4x4 this weekend and the back dropped nicely but the front coils only gave me about 3/4-1" drop? Not sure how much these things settle but right now they I'm definitely not happy with the front of my truck being higher than the back.
hmm, maybe i should have gotten recommendations from here first lol. what would be a good choice then, just incase the OP does decide to bake the lights.
ive baked my headlights before, its not hard but you have to be careful, the only main issue i had really was getting a good seal on my headlight once i put it back together but any decent body shop could prolly do it for you no problem. theres a write up on it somewhere ill try and find the...
good choice. i always recommend taking it to a shop that has that specialty but my stubborn self cant seem to stop thinking about the money i could save doing it myself, until 9 hours into a project and i wish i would have taken it somewhere to get done :) you should def get some pics up when...
looks real good, definitly needs a drop now.
why dont you go a full 2/4 drop through mcaughys? that truck would look sick huggin the ground.
you should also paint match the headlight housing. and throw in some halo's while your in there. man im getting more excited about your truck...
