4.7 liter ticking noise need help
nope i had the same thing its passenger side exhaust manifold gasket i replaced mine all good again these are notorious for this.- Ramx2

sounds like you are in limp mode . try removing both battery cables for 15 min put back on and see what that does.- Ramx2

Got into an accident today
I know it's hard to do but there is a reason it says 10mh at yield signs . Just glad you are ok and no one was injured. -
Check Engine Light
easy way to clear the code on my 2005 is to pull the number 23 fuse under the hood and turn the key to on like your trying to start it (it wont start with this fuse out) wait till the chimes stop... turn the key back to off... put the fuse back in...start the truck and viola code clear.- Ramx2

Is The 4.7 That Bad?
Mason keep that gem as the 4.7 is no longer made i have the 2005 4.7 . I run Royal Purple in all my fluids that can take it . just look on here and do the performance mods the others have perfected and you will be loving that little motor. and yes the tune and exhaust is a must just be sure you...- Ramx2
