Not starting???
Thank yall it turned out to be ther rotor kept breaking in the distributor cap... Went through 4 rotors before it stopped breaking them. Thank yall for all y'all's thoughts on it it really helped decide what to check next an what wasn't wrong now I just gotta figure out why it's blowing black...- Rodeoram93

Not starting???
Now it won't even acknowledge that it even has power no lights won't even make a clicking sounds even if I hook up jumpers to the new battery I just put in it??? someone please help- Rodeoram93

Black smoke an backfiring?! Help please!!
So I have a 1999 dodge 1500 5.9l 4*4 an I replaced the plenum gasket an plate this weekend an it was running fine wen I test drove it then today I replaced a spark plug an started it up an it blew out black smoke with some chunks of suet an backfiring pretty steadily it stopped black smoking but...- Rodeoram93

Transmission not shifting?
I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 4*4 5.9l just got the transmission rebuilt cuase it wouldn't go into drive without shifting down to 1st but now it will move when put into drive but i think it's starting out in 3rd gear an won't go into overdrive. No acceleration.. Help please!!!
I have a 99 dodge ram 1500 4*4 5.9l I bought a couple weeks ago an it accelerates good 1/3 throttle just feels like it has no power behind it but if I floor it the Roma go up to bout 4000 but the acceleration stays the same an still feels like it has no power behind it??
