they put some kind of etching chemical on them and let that work overnight. then they taped of plastic bits and sprayed...i took the bumpers off brought them to them. $150 per bumper....I thought it was reasonable. I absolutely hate chrome or shiny chit.- SixFo Powa Wagon

new here. read all thru this thread. outstanding info. thanks 2 all 4 that. i recently (2 months and 1800 miles ago) picked up a 2015 Power Wagon. Coming from 2004 ram cummins and a 2014 F-150. thought i would like the ford but nope. love the wagon tho. knew mpg would suk but the f-150 5.0 only...- SixFo Powa Wagon
