As far as I’m concerned, you always start from the factory tire size with the gear you have in the truck. So if it’s a 3.55 and the factory tire is a 33, go up or down from there with your affective gear ratio. No ram has a factory 28 or 24.5 so you wouldnt use that as your starting point 33...- Tomater03

This was based off 33” tire being the factory tire size. So you would go down from there to a 28” tire thus giving you a 4.18 affective gear ratio- Tomater03

Actually goes the other way, a smaller tire acts like more gear. 3.55 on a 28” equates to a 4.18 gear- Tomater03

They stay right at 185 and I live in Texas . Every once in a while in real dense traffic with temps in the 95-105 range you will see them creep up around 200-205 but that’s still under factory so not a big deal- Tomater03

Sometimes I get lazy and don’t put the filter back on but it’s mostly for the strip. You just pull out the filter and put in a small tube and bam! Track ready- Tomater03
