Hi Guys, so i decided to get a fifth wheel finally, just wondering if right hide will be an issue? think im getting timbrehns to help with the weight in the back.
Allow me to clarify...i want ram to offer the airbags or some sort of assist that boost's payload when engaged not full on air suspension. I had a 2014 limited 1500 with air ride and had nothing but issues when winter rolled around.
very stupid for dodge to do this, they should have included airbags from the factory or as an option as im sure they would have sold alot more of these trucks...than we would not have to worry about being overweight. Someone please explain to me whats the difference between having airbags on a...
I just realized the truck before that was hauling this fifth wheel is a 1996 dodge ram cummins 3/4 Ton (the 5th is in the family), the payload should be around 1650LBS...not much more than the PW. Does anyone know what the tires are rated for on the PW? I would only be overweight with passengers...
right so maybe its a bad idea than since i will be heavily overloaded. It would be nice to haul the quad in the back and a trailer anyways. Still need airbags for that but at least i have more control over the pin weight and most trailer are about 10% of the overall weight as the pin weight.
Hi Guys i have a 2018 power wagon and looking to tow a 5th Wheel. The specs say 950LB tongue weight and dry weight is 7300 LBS. I figure given the hitch would weigh 200 LBS and myself and wife (for now) puts us at 1450LBS payload on the truck which is close to max. If i had an extra person or...
HI Guys i have the 2018 power wagon with the 12,000LB Winch. The first time i used it i wrapped the cable back on itself and its slightly crimped, no frays or anything just a bump in the cable now. Its a huge pain to pull out this cable as i just learned you need 500LBS of tension to spool the...
Yup thats what i was looking for, that should work perfect. Im powering off the battery anyways so i can do everything under the hood instead of ripping apart the dash again.
Well it would be a separate Relay and i can just solder the wires directly to it...so not tapping into the fuse box except for the trigger power/ignition power. I should be able to wedge a small wire between the fuse blades.
