Finally decided to make the jump from my 05 CTD. Picked her up two weeks ago and so far I'm loving it. Couldn't pass up what I thought was a good deal with my trade. Gonna miss the low end torque a bit but drivability and ride is way above my expectations.- Wh87gta

So they're a nice truck! Not for me right now though. Even the sales man basically talked me out of it for what I need. He also didn't try talking me into a new 6.7 either. Said he just had someone replace their DEF system. $8000!! Ouch. I'll keep the 5.9 for now and see what happens.- Wh87gta

Thanks for the advice! That is my concern. I know I can do about 13/14 on a tank with mostly towing and hwy I can pull 16-17. Best I've gotten was 19.8 on a 650 mi round trip. All hand calc.Biggest thing is the extra $$$ and not sold on all the emissions garbage past 100k miles. Especially with...- Wh87gta

Can't believe I'm this torn. Going to go test drive a '15 2500 6.4 tomorrow. I own my own concrete business so I tow about 8-9k for about six months a year. Average I would say about 1-3 times a week. Not really hilly in east central WI. Just don't know if I should part with my 05 5.9 CTD at...- Wh87gta
