14 Ram 2500 Rear Axle Bearing Wear
Well the races are a slip fit so it is common to see some marking. If you can measure a difference between the good area and where it is spun then I would say you may want to investigate further on what is "normal/acceptable" and what needs to be replaced. The bad news is that that part is... -

wheel hop
My guess is the suspension, you could try those air bladders that fit inside the coil spring. I have heard those help with wheel hop for racing applications but I would think wheel hop is wheel hop. Max- ZJMAX

Help with differential pattern
Before changing the pinion shim I would tighten up the backlash to around .006-.007 and re check pattern. Also you want to spin it by the ring gear not the pinion and you want a smooth rotation around the pattern check location as starting and stopping the turn will give you a strange pattern... -

2007 1500 4.7 annoying engine whine found!!!
So I have a 2007 1500 with the 4.7 (aprox 138K miles on it), about 2 weeks after I picked it up last summer it got a small bearing whine type sound (louder above 1500 rpm). First I removed the serp belt and fired it up and no noise so I knew it wasn't internal. Checked the idler/tensioner...- ZJMAX

Thank you for the offer Kori, glad I did not need your help but also glad I had the option if needed for assistance. If it wasn't covered I was going to look in to getting headers like tantore suggested. I did start looking in to them the day I dropped off the truck before they called me...- ZJMAX

Well Good news! They are replacing all the bolts/studs as well as both exhaust manifolds. Should be done later today. All covered under the powertrain warranty. So glad I didn't have to pay for this repair as it is not in my budget right now. Max- ZJMAX

Dropping off my 14 at the dealer (manifold bolts)
So I'm dropping off my 2014 ram 1500 for what sounds like the typical broken/ cracked exhaust manifold bolts. Truck has 85K on it and other than a fuel pump has been pretty good so far. From what the service manager said it should be covered under the 5 year/100K miles powertrain warranty...- ZJMAX

2014 USB port question
Is that designed for connecting a device such as an ipod via usb cord or can you plug in a USB flash drive with music like in some other vehicles? I tried connecting a USB drive with some music but it did not show it connected. So not sure if that is normal or if something is not making a...- ZJMAX

New tires wearing odd, Dealer says alignment is good
Sorry been super busy at work and I hate when threads never get finished. So alignment checked out good. I replaced the tires with some coopers and no more odd wear after 2,000 miles. Guess the tires were just not the greatest. Thanks everyone for the help. Max -

2014 Ram RA1 Uconnect 3.0 to RA2 Uconnect 5.0 Upgrade
I've seen people have this issue before and it seems that the radio came from a 2 door truck not a 4 door. The 4 door trucks have the fade option and the 2 door trucks do not. Break Locking Differential (BLD)
Well the 11.5 GM is the same diff as the 11.5 Mopar. You can get a GM G80 posi unit and have it installed in your 11.5 Dodge. Lots of the GM guys hat ethe G80 units and will have the mopar heli unit installed in their 11.5 diffs. I'm sure you could find a good used 11.5 posi on ebay. Max
