Anyone ever change their solid rear window to a manual or power sliding window?

Years back I had the fixed rear glass swapped for a slider on my Dakota. Uses Safelite because a friend worked there. Forgot the cost, maybe $400, but it was easily done. Obviously a RAM has a larger glass so the price will be higher. Check with a glass shop at least for a starting point.

Heck, I'd rather swap my power slider for a solid window with a defroster. I never use the slider.
I have considered the same swap. In the winter that rear window ices up badly. I have an 07. From an electrical standpoint, a lot of it is already there. The heated side mirrors switch serves double duty. As I understand it, the switch operates 2 relays, one for the mirrors and one for the window. The harness ends in an unconnected plug under the driver's seat. So you should just have to plug a window relay into the empty socket and extend a wire to one side of the heated window. The other side is grounded to the sheet metal.

I have a manual slide on my 2020 warlock. Can I swap it for a power slide? What would I have to swap or install?

There are a few Youtube videos about changing Ram rear windows to a different type of window

There may not be a video on your particular year, but it will show everything that you will need to know

There was an issue with the 2019 Ram power sliding rear windows, the glass was cracking both sides of the glass.
The 2020 power sliding window is an upgrade from the earlier years

This video shows how to replace the whole unit

I bought a MOPAR manual slider on Ebay and paid a local window guy to change it . I believe I may of been able to do it myself like to old days but now the windshield and rear window are now considered as part of the structure so I just paid and was done with it . Their are a few of them barbs or christmas trees that act as guides made to the window so you can't really put it in crooked or anything

I have a 2019 Warlock with a manual sliding rear window and it drives me crazy, what you find out? Are you stuck with the manual sliding or is there an option to get a power one?
