    Cab lights

a bit late to the party, but got the cab lights installed. from reading this thread and searching others on this site, I decided to do the fasteners a bit different. I opted to use m4 rivnuts instead of the plastic threaded inserts that seem to be finicky... I also used stainless m4 button...

If anyone was curious, I found that by selecting “led fog lamps present” I was able to hook up my hids without any resistor harness or extra canbus modules. It may be because I’m using a pair of 35w hylux “canbus” ballasts, but all I did was take the trucks stock 9006 connector and plugged it...

Anyone Have Experience with: DtMoto, OemMassive or VipMotoz?

I ordered the exact same lights you posted a picture of. I bought them from dt_moto on Ebay, and love them. as stated above, I too think a lot of vendors on ebay sell the same lights, as the ones I received are "Spyder" brand, but the listing stated that they were "DTMOTO" brand lights. from the...

has anyone tried using HIDs in the fog lights with the "led fog lights present" setting selected? I'm curious to see if we could get away with not using a relay harness for the HIDs in the fogs. not sure it would work as I don't think the led fog light setting does anything for PMW, I think it...

    No more headlight condensation

im not sure how effective this next step will be, but I went ahead and did it just to be safe the same time I added the vents. (I was tired of removing my grill and headlights to deal with this fogging issue) last thing to do was add silicon desiccant packs. I had heard of this being done before...

    No more headlight condensation

I figured id share my experience with how I was able to rid my headlights of the common fogging or condensation along the bottom lens. my quads are oem and are retrofitted. I have always had the problem of the bottom inside of the lens fogging all the way across the bottom from the turn signal...

    Rear Footwell Lighting

https://www.radioshack.com/collections/other-connectors/products/25-position-male-connector?variant=20332045381 I bought this connector a couple years ago when my local radio shack was closing down for the sole purpose of using these pins for something like this. the pins are not the correct...

    Rear Footwell Lighting

the wires tie into the interiors lighting circuit. they are the same black and yellow wires that the rear dome light uses as well as the front footwell lights. you could probably find them in the main wiring harness under the driver side door sill and attach there if you can't find them up under...

thanks for that. I ended up using the “my 13-17...” as most others have and got everything I wanted to do added issue free. Once connected, it said it was connected as an 18. (Makes sense since the 19 classics are the same as the 18’s) Worked great, not a single issue. :happy107:

    Rear Footwell Lighting

thanks. the lights function just as the dome light does, so yes, they come on when the doors are opened, when the truck is unlocked, etc. the 2 factory wires in the connectors located under the rear seat that these new under seat led are wired into, are tied into the the rest of the trucks...

as I'm waiting on usps to deliver my security bypass harness for my 19 classic, I thought id do some research before hand so I have everything sorted before I start on my truck. quick question for you 18 and 19 classic guys. what "control unit" (body computer) has worked best for you? does...

    Rear Footwell Lighting

would work good on the front as well since they are very small and come with double side tape already on them. also for the front lights, (the little round ones with the white opaque lenses that everyone uses) can be found in most junkyards for peanuts. when I bought the ones for my old truck...

the leds are from superbrightleds.com. these are the ones I used. https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-light-modules/miniature-rectangle-led-accent-light-black/25/174/ and yes I used a stiff piece of wire to act as a fish to go from the small incision I made, to the seats outer most...

    Rear Footwell Lighting

and heres how they look at night. not sure why most of the photos show up here as real low quality, but you get the idea. hope this helps someone, or gives them ideas on how to do something similar on their own truck.:waytogo: . .

    Rear Footwell Lighting

once the pods were centered in the seat where I wanted them, I fished the wiring to the bottom corners of each seat and inserted the + and - wired into the trucks factory connector. and the connector reinstalled on the seats frame rail. and that's it. it was a very simple install and the...

    Rear Footwell Lighting

after doing a little research on here, I thought id give installing rear footwell lights a try. my truck is a 2019 1500 classic big horn. the rear lighting connectors were present, but since it is only a big horn, there were no actual lights installed under the rear seats. I first started by...

    Inez Hotrods 4/6 Drop

i used the brackets that came with the full inez kit. the kit includes the rear control arm brackets to lower them in angle and help re-align them "parallel". the springs in the kit iirc, are the same bell tech rears that come with a 2/4 kit. people are getting more than the 4" drop by simply...

    Inez Hotrods 4/6 Drop

i have the durango air lift bags on my inez kit, and they are not smashed and work perfect. it may be that way since i only cut 1 coil from the rear spring. (which net me a 5" drop.) i have only towed a small utility trailer for my motorcycles, but they have worked great.

    gun holster

not a holster, but it holds my edc very well. i didn't want to drill into any dash panel so i made a bolt on mount. it mounts to the right under dash panel screw. i also incorporated my pedal commander mount into it as well. it works very well, and i only have a few dollars into it. not the...
