I Just did my 5.7 yesterday and it took me all of 25 minutes. The differance in the idle and Throttle response is great! Agin it was , by far, the easiest thing that I have done on the Truck!!!!
I changed the gas cap, I did the hoses that I could reach on the canister assembly, can anyone tel me the easy way to drop the assembly to check/replace the top hoses/

I dont know if this will help, Mine did the exact same thing. I took some electrical contact cleaner and sprayed the steering wheel switches. Be carefule to cover the steering wheel and wear eye protection ( the shit burns when it gets in your eyes! Dont ask!) then work the buttons for a few...
Thanks, I never thought about that. But unless the ground is wrong, I doubt it would make a diff. Both resistors are the same value for High or low...

I bought the kit for the 9007 bulbs. When I put it in I got the flicker and the "Lamp OUT" on the dash..I ordered the relay kit and Resistor kit. I installed them both and now have the Flicker taken care of. I still have the "Lamp out" on Low beam When I switch to High, The "lamp out" goes...
Yup, Tires still have lots of life, so I will have to wait a year or so. Next is fender flairs, she has a little rust developing on the rear fender over the wheel well. I want fix the rust and install the flairs.......
Tail lights are VHT. I followed the "tint your tails with a rattlecan" DIY Yes the stripes were continued across the cover. Lots of measureing and tape

About 20 pins. Just get a small drill bit or punch and push the center of the pins through. The emblem, heat gun and fising line or just tape around it
Its a complete waste of time unless you are taking the truck to the track.
I did it in my Big Twin on my Harley and noticed nothing. no change in performance or gas milage. I did notice one thing, it tokk me 2 times as long to change out the plugs!!!!!

1) Debadged
2) Tinted Rears
3) leveled front
4) Painted the headlights
5) Blacked out the grill
6) and installed Air Horns
I love the truck and it looks...
