    Driveshaft spacer

Okay. My ProComp lift came with a front spacer but not for the rear. When I crawl under the truck, it looks like the yoke has moved out of the t-case about an inch or two. Im trying to figure if thats safe or if I need to find a spacer for the rear driveshaft. Thanks for your input fellas.

    Grinding noise

When I put the truck in drive and hold the breaks (power breaking), the rev the engine, starting around 1200rpm there is a faint grinding noise. I can't tell if its coming from the trans or transfer case. Anyone have any similar situations or knowledge on the matter? Thanks 2012 1500...

    Best $300 mod

He was messing with you, the catch can does not add any hp. It is a good mod for keeping oil out of your filter and out of the combustion chamber though. Well worth it but you do need to empty it every 2-4k miles depending on how quickly it fills up.

***Clunking in the front end after Bilstein install ..***

If the CV is binding up because of the new geometry induced by the lift, they can go to shit within 50 miles or less. I currently have a bad CV because of my lift, got new ones on the way. I have a lot of play on the inner where it goes to the diff. A little in and out play is okay (I think) but...

Here's my plan, pick it apart....

I'll give you my stats followed by my experience. 2012 Ram 1500 QC/RB 4x4 5.7 3.92 6" PrpComp lift w/ 2.75 MX6 adjustable coil overs 37" MT2 tires 18" wheels w/ -12 offset As far as fitting in the garage, that'll never happen again (for me) not even aired down. I installed the lift myself, I...

    Broken Manifold Studs?

Ram should issue a recall on these trucks. My 2012 52k miles has at least one broken manifold bolt as well.

    Who's rock'n a 6" lift with 17" wheels

The issue with a quality lift and 17" wheels is the clearance between the inside of the wheel and the spindle.

    Can't get rear shocks out

Buy a cheap wrench, take the box end and about 1.5" of the handle; cut everything else off. Slip it onto the nut and you're good to go.

    Possible CV issues

Rzrman328, I've gone through you're build thread; very nice. I don't know how to upload pics, it asks for a URL. With that I have not taken picture under the truck. Jameson, The coils are set about half way through their adjustable range. That's how they arrived. Without pulling out a tape...

How are the Mevotech UCA's holding up?

My decision to run mevotech was because there are plenty of positive reviews and the next option is around $300 more expensive.

How are the Mevotech UCA's holding up?

I have a set of mevotechs for my 2012, they came together in one box with no paperwork, info, or anything. How can I know which side is for driver and which for passenger? thanks

    Rear shocks... What's the point?

Lets assume one doesn't carry a heavy payload, tow, or off road on a regular basis. What is the point of bolting on fancy shmancy shocks i.e. Fox, Icon, King, and the like when there's virtually no weight on the rear end? I'm not bashing anyone who has gone this route, Just looking for...

Any regular cab Rams with 6" lift?

I still think lifted RC/SB trucks look better than any other cab configuration out there. My first truck was a RC ranger, then moved up to a RC Ram 1500, in a QC Ram 1500 now, next will be a 2020 CC/LB Ram 3500. Then when I'm old and the kids are grown I'll prolly go back to a RC Ram.

    Tow hookd

You'd have to remove and modify the black plastic piece between the fog lights. That should be all that's needed other than the tow hooks and eight bolts.

3.55 gears. Want to run 37's will I be ok?

If I were in your shoes I would start at junk yards looking for 4th gen 4x4's with factory 3.92s. If you can change spark plugs and do an oil change, you can swap gears. If you found factory 3.92s in good condition you'll save hundreds perhaps a grand by going this route. If money isn't a...
