It's from a site called mr.hoodscoop. It's a stick on so it's just aesthetics unless you wanna put in the work to make it functional. They can paint match or send it bare. The insert comes with it but not the lights. The lights are led bolts from amazon
Here is a pic of the CV angles. Both sides are identical. It has very little impact since it's not like a complete lift strut pushing the suspension down it's just stiffening the spring so it's not as soft and then the 1 inch lift space pushes it down slightly. Hence why the CV angles are...
Updated my ram with a bunch of new goodies since I posted last!! Here's how she sits now:
- Carli Suspension 2.5 performance coilovers (turned up to 2 inches) and rear shocks, both with reservoirs
- 1 inch front strut space plates
- rear 1 inch rough country coil spring spacers (from old 3 inch...
I'm not exactly sure what you mean but what I can say is using the OEM pigtails from the website is the best option for a water tight seal and best function
What's up everyone!! So I havent posted for awhile on here and normally it's all about my ram 1500 sport that I was/am modding to be more like a "sport TRX". Quick note: I'll be making an updated post on that truck in a different thread I started. Anyways, I decide it was time I bit the bullet...
Yes but the great thing about this bumper is they have a support bracket that goes from the bumper to a body mount and on the bracket they have holes so you can zip tie it to get it out of the way even more so it's nots flapping around
The shipping was "free" but the fees for it coming into the US was less than $100
Just the bumper and tow points, it's less than 100 lbs. It's not super heavy
It's been a little while since I posted on here!! I had been doing a lot of looking around for a lighter off-road bumper that was still functional and strong. I also wanted it to be relatively high clearance but also look similar to a rebel oem bumper. I landed on this company called Vice Design...
Im sure you could find a nbs rear bumper for cheaper on ebay or FB marketplace. I'd say if you really wanna do this, stand out from the crowd and confuse the hell out of ram owners in a good way go for the new color matched bumper. It really gives an updated look to our 4th gen rams
Bump!!
The new pigtail connectors for the new body style bumper (which are different for the 4th gens by a lot) can be ordered online at Find PigTails.com
I got these on eBay and they're under the name off-road arsenal. I'm thinking about getting gloss black to match the bumper but I also like the matte finish too. The finish holds up great and it cleans up nicely too. Thanks for the compliments!!
Haha thank you! I spend a lot of time researching...
Thank you!!
Thank you!! I got them off eBay by a company called off-road arsenal. I was skeptical on the finish of them since I've had bad experiences in there past but they hold up nicely
2015 Ram 1500 Sport
3 inch rough country leveling struts with upper control arms, 1" lift icon multirate springs, .5" spacer to give the tiniest amount of rake
Once the retainer clips have been modified, you can attach your factory sensors to the bumper. NOTE: there's a little clear o-ring on the factory sensors that you will need to remove otherwise the sensors one fit. Once you have that done, all that's left it some wiring such as extending the...
