Old thread, I hope someone is still around that can help. I just rebuilt my 46RE transmission and replaced the torque converter on my 2001 1500 5.9 4x4. As soon as I started it up for the first time after rebuild, I have a loud rattling noise, that sounds similar to what Lemmo419 described...
