JJ, I've been looking into upgrading my lights, and was wondering in your opinion what the better options is between a full HALO/LED projector headlight & a HID conversion kit? If I choose to go with a HALO/LED project headlight that fully replaces the original headlight housing etc. will I...
Got the truck home and put the rear shocks on it. I couldn't be happier with the new stance of the truck and the way the new tires look.
Before
After
The pictures simply don't do it justice and the ride is amazingly better.
Got the Bilstein 5100s in yesterday. I've got the truck in the shop this morning getting them installed and putting some new cooper tire AT3s on as well. Can't wait to see the difference in the look and stance. I'll post better before/after pics later.
Hey all,
I've looked around on here and all over the internet, and couldn't find the answer to my question, so I thought I'd turn to the experts on here and ask myself.
My 2008 1500 5.7 4x4 has about 200k miles on it and still has the stock struts and shocks on it. I'm wanting to replace...
I bought my 2008 1500 Laramie qc 4x4 with 160k+. Previous owner used it as his mobile office and was OLD like with maintenance... Just take it to a trusted mechanic and have them give you all the nitty gritty on it.
I have it on my Gen 3 with 5.7 HEMI. I've had it on almost a year and I've been pleased. Saw MPGs go up slightly, and once I added a muffler the truck sounds very mean and strong. I went with the Spectre for the price, and it's worth what you pay for sure. I would recommend getting stronger...
Yea. Mines 4x4 as well. And it doesn't have the gen 2 Hemi so no multiple displacement system to shut down half the cylinders in stable driving conditions...

I'm mostly curious on how other Hemi owners drive their trucks and what kind of fuel mileage y'all are getting... I myself have a 2008 with a CAI and dynomax muffler and I average 16-16.5 MPG. however I heavily baby my gas pedal trying not to exceed 2000 rpm when not on the highway to achieve...
i love my ultra-flow round muffler on my ram... 2008 5.7L
did the single in/single out set-up to keep it looking stock and i love the sound a feel when i mash on the gas.. can't wait to continue to build up the power in the truck so i can really scream on the road
Update on issue. Now to accompany the engine light reading O2 sensor my change oil indicator is coming on after start up. I just had the oil changed less than a month ago so I know that end is good. Any way these issues are connected? I just installed a CAI and DynoMax muffler last month as...
Over the span of about one (1) week my check engine light has turned on, then off, then back on again this morning (after being off for about 5days) reading as an O2 sensor failure (according to the reader at the local Autozone) has anyone else ever had an issue with the check engine light...
My 08 ram steering wheel is doing the same thing. I wouldn't mind finding out the answer to your question either....

Good question. I'm curious as well considering my 2008 ram 1500 5.7 hemisphere has over 170k miles a well...
