update. so i changed my oil using mobil 1 full synthetic @ 4000 miles. the oil was blackkkk! not to mention i fully drained out all the oil & only got 4 qts used out the pan! are our ram trucks with 4.7 notorious for eating oil??? anyways, on a lighter note i recommend buying your oil from...- Peti817

Ram's with black rims

This is UNBROKEN's RAM with a Snuglid on it (sorry 4 stealing this pic dude) This convinced me to go with the Snuglid for sure because I love how flush it is on the truck :naughty: -
Tire shine?
I used to use tire shine but after a while I thought to myself...self that is a lot of tire to be using all that tire shine on. So I says to myself ehhhh it's a truck, fuggetabouut the tire shine lol -

Just installed mine in yesterday! (It's past midnight here lol) This is the correct kit everybody #DZ43301. Just like these previous posts, the nutsert is the main part you really have to pay close close attention to when installing! When installing the nutsert, I highly recommend a T-Handle... -

So I know the dealerships use DealerConnect/TechConnect for OBDII Diagnostics. that's why I do my own oil changes so that I know for sure it is done right. The last time I took my truck to a lube shop for an oil change, the guy brings my drain plug to me in the waiting area and said that 'it was hard to take off'. Engine oil
Mine's not a Hemi but I recently changed my oil out on my 4.7L 3 days ago with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil and man does she purrrr like a kitten! I've noticed a big big difference on acceleration and on the highway. just my 2 cents.- Peti817

4.7 cold start to warm tapping noise.
sorry for bringing back this old thread BUT this infamous tapping noise @ cold start/idle bug has bitten me too! I've had my truck about 5 or 6 months now and I'm getting it. I keep up with maintaining my truck and only have 40,000 miles on it. Anybody else have more insight to this problem with...- Peti817
