    The tuner changes the computer settings-the computer actually increases the pressure willingly by ??psi of flow allowing for quicker shifts. The computer has a new setting (tune), so it never goes back to stock. I'm thinking of how to give sonnax's explanation for the operation of the product...

    Go to Sonnax's site and check out the model for the 8 speed-they may not make one, I am out of the loop on the 8 speed, sorry bro. The 44957-lb2 is for the 645 rfe( six speed auto in most hemi models) even though it's shown to cover a 545 rfe.

    easy truck to work on I've installed systems in my old s-10 and my wife's bimmer. These trucks are by far the simplest I've ever installed an amp and upgraded the speakers in. Panels remove and re install easily and don't require many tools.

    Do not attempt this on your own. I searched the forums and net, very highly mechanically inclined with access to great tools and cnc equipment was used on the project. I now have a beautiful truck that idles rough and upon deceleration must be thrown in neutral to avoid no throttle response...
