Best suspension shops in the Houston area I know of is the off road shops all-out off road which they have multiple locations. I recommend the one on 2920 (spring) it's home of full flex customs and they do ridiculous work!
Well with you going with a 20x9 and not a 20x10 that will affect it a little as well. 20x9 -12 offset would probably be perfect for you. There's only about a .5" difference between a -12 and -24. 25.4mm=1"
I can agree the platinum does have some really nice features. But what about overall quality/refinement? I know the ford sync is complete garbage and aren't they making a new radio system now?
Just curious as to how everyone would compare the different trim levels across the other manufacturers to the ram. When it comes to the top of the line I honestly think the Laramie limited and Laramie longhorn are the nicest of them all. The Denali GMC would be a close 2nd to me. Ford platinum...
Holy crap, is that the cheapest you've found? You may want to do some shopping around. My 35x12.5x20 M/T were right at $1600 mount/balance/road hazard.
Not necessarily true. There's quite a few car washes that have the auto-tracks in them down here that will take a 12.5 tire. I've had mine in them with -12 offset. But I'm in the greater houston area so I'm not sure about others.
There's one I go to with being lifted and -24 with 35x12.5 that I...
Exactly!
The reason they say it won't work is a liability issue for them. You can get the 17's to work you just need them offset more. The new steering knuckles you get with lift kits are bigger/heavier duty and with most 17" wheels there's not a whole lout of negative offsets so they just say...
You're going to need more than 1/4" spacers if you plan on using factory wheels with 35x12.5
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but won't that rub the steering knuckle with that wide of a tire on the +19 factory wheels?
i almost ordered my wheels/tires through them but got an amazing deal at my local place i couldn't pass up. I've read where many people have had great luck using them though.
