Well to be fair to anyone who commented I decided to do a follow up post. I never mentioned the oil was pretty freshly changed in my comments before so I did add some lubeguard. Well well well, that noise is a little more noticeable even at lower rpm now. I would take the time to think now...- spudgunn88

Gotcha, from responses; using some lubeguard on this engine may be a good idea sound or no sound so going to start that up. On 2nd tank of 93 octane as of this morning along with the 2nd round of Lucas fuel system cleaner see if that helps. I did notice a bit better throttle response after...- spudgunn88

Usually I get mine from wallyworld as I live in the middle of no where lol. Usually grab quaker state, pen, valvoline, havoline. I have used supertech (not on this truck) before as well not sure of your opinion of any of those? Supertech is pretty cheap for a full syn and dex gen 2 approved...- spudgunn88

87, 89, 93 in my local area. I haven't tried a higher grade fuel at all. Most stations here are equally as busy as the next except for one but everyone knows to avoid that one lol. It only does it if you juice it and let it pull through an rpm band right at the end of it, it will make the sound (between shifts) It's coming from the engine bay so Idk if it's the drop in rpm making an injector noise/one plug maybe not firing the same or if there's improper lube going on...- spudgunn88
