3.92 or 4.10 gears???
My truck is the quad cab. And its the ram sport model. Woth the two in leveling kit I jist had to cut a little bit of my front fender. To clear them better I would go with a 3in lift so you have less fender cutting.- awcain96

3.92 or 4.10 gears???
I got a 01 ram 1500 5.2L 4x4. And its setting on 35s and leveling kit, and the factory gears are 3.55s . The gears pull them just fine. But I want to take some stress off the transmission. And I was wanting to know which would be better 3.92 or 4.10s. I pull a horse trailer every now and then...- awcain96

Alright looks like ill also be adding 4.56 gears once I get the money. Speaking of money about how much does it cost to have 4.56 gears installed ? You have to also install them in the front also right?- awcain96

Haha I hear ya. I've been looking at gears also and I know almost everyone has recommended 4.56 but how fast can I run with those gears. Cause sometimes I do like to play around and race a little with my buddies lol.:D- awcain96

Thanks everyone I think I know what gears to go with now lol. Other than adding 4.56 gears anything else I'd need to do. I know the 35s threw off my speedometer a fee miles so I fig the gears will also. Will I need to do anything with my transmission? I dont think so. But I am going to have to...- awcain96

Lol I see everyone recomends 4.56 gears but how will they do as far as being on the highway running 65-70 mph how will my rpms be and would I not need a programmer to reprogram my speedometer.- awcain96

Yeah I know I want be back to same mileage as I used to be id just like to have just a little bit more fuel gain. And want 4.56 gears make me run higher rpms. Its mostly a asphalt truck other than hauling hay and tractors every once in a while.- awcain96

rim and tire question..
Oh quick question where did you find a set with negative offset all the one I've looked at on eBay with a wheel and tire package. All the fuel throttles for my bolt pattern have +20 offset. -

I have a 01 dodge ram 5.2v8 sport. And I'm looking at a set of 18x9 fuel throttles offset +20, backspacing 5.75, hub bore 110.30. With a set of 295/70/18 nitto trail grapplers. Will the rims fit on my truck right with the offset and backspacing. And also what is the bolt pattern for my type... -

dash cracked to heck any help? 01 ram sport.
Yeah its definitely a prob for our trucks. I've been working on exterior and interior putting accessories outside and inside and getting ready to put bigger tires and wheel and lift then my dash cracks. I had interior fixed up then a big chunk collapses. But thanks I'm definitely gonna look them up. -

Yeah I've called and went to several junk yards around were I live and all the ones they have for my model are all cracked. I know its a prob for my year model. Prob just end up saving up and buy a new one. Definitely don't want a dash cap you glue on top -

I got a 01 dodge ram 5.2v8 sport and the dash is cracked to pieces, got a hole the size of a football on the passenger side. Is their any number to call to get help on getting it fixed for free or at least half of it played. If y'all can help me out any that would be great. -
